The Southeast Europe Business Development Network –“SEEBDN”, founded in Vienna, was established as an independent business association of prominent managers, entrepreneurs and diplomats from the countries of Southeastern Europe, Germany and Austria.
The SEEBDN comprises the following countries: Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and the countries of the Western Balkans.
We are convinced that economic growth and mutual cooperation, especially from the private sector, are one of the most important factors for the stability and prosperity of any country and SEEBDN would like to contribute with its involvement and activities in Southeastern Europe.
The SEEBDN is a business network focused not only on small and medium-sized companies, but also on large manufacturing and service-offering companies to promote regional cooperation between companies in Southeastern Europe as well as with EU markets, and to initiate partnerships and new business opportunities.
We aim to intensify economic growth and fully support our members and to back up the EU candidate countries of Southeastern Europe on their path to the European Union.
Although we are a business network, we have a great deal of support from political decision-makers in the countries of Southeastern Europe and the EU, since politics is an important dialogue partner in national economies too.
The SEEBDN maintains partnerships with well-known, like-minded business and similar organizations from the above mentioned countries in order to provide additional programs and projects to our members.
Our goals are underlined by our slogan, “YOUR BUSINESS NETWORK”.
With this in mind, the SEEBDN aims to directly connect managers and companies. Our members enjoy the specific promotion of their programs, services and products in the markets of Southeast Europe as well as in Germany and Austria. The SEEBDN focuses particularly on small and medium-sized companies.
Likewise, the SEEBDN has set itself the task of supporting members by providing EU funding and programs for growth-oriented projects.
To achieve these goals for our members, the SEEBDN uses the following tools:
- Regional and national conferences as well as business talks among other partner organizations.
- Self-designed projects, programs and initiatives
- Discussions with policymakers
- Media outreach (newsletter, SEEBDN “Business Link” magazine, social media, partnerships with media companies throughout Southeast Europe, Germany and Austria.
The Southeast Europe Business Development Network, or “SEEBDN”, accepts members by recommendation as well as by application. The application of a member is examined by the Board, which decides upon membership. Members are legal entities who nominate one natural person as a representative in the SEEBDN. Private persons as members of the SEEBDN may also be rare exceptions to the rule.
The promotion of our association goals, the active cooperation approaches as well as the cooperation with our members are important to us.
